Event Recap: Collected + Connected

Thanks to our community who gathered at the Hyannisport Club for the “Collected + Connected” fundraiser event. We are blown away by the generosity of our friends who helped us raise an incredible $34,000!

Funds raised during the evening’s fund-a-need appeal allow us to move forward with our next Instructor Training program in the summer of 2023.

Guests were treated to a Calmer Choice evidence-based mindfulness lesson as if they were students in a 3rd-grade classroom. Thanks to D-Y Mindfulness Coach Miss Stephanie for showing us how the different parts of our brain work and how we can use our breath to calm our bodies and minds.

Longtime volunteers and board members Betsy Bowes and David Troutman were honored with our 2022 Abacus Awards for being individuals we can “always count on,” and Business Alliance Partner Cape Cod Aggregates was honored with the 2022 Tony & Lorraine Shepley Award for their incredible philanthropy and support to non-profits across the community.
