Parenting with Presence, Persistence, and Possibility
Presented by Cape Cod Children’s Place
How does being present make us more resilient to stress? Can persistence of mindfulness practice open the door to greater personal and parenting possibilities? Together, we explore what it means to cultivate a personal practice of mindful awareness and how that impacts our parenting. We will also include ways to practice mindfulness with your family.
Join us for a 3-week workshop series, led by a Calmer Choice Instructor, that provides skills and tools to support personal stress management and emotional health and well-being. Current research studies show the benefits of using mindfulness practices to settle the mind, create clarity, attention, and focus, and widen perspective, all leading to a greater sense of well-being.
You’ll have a chance to ask questions, share ideas and go home with education and resource materials.
This workshop series runs for 3 consecutive weeks. All sessions are held at Chatham Elementary School, 147 Depot Rd. in Chatham.
